The power of the breath is so underestimated

We do it about 20,000 times a day without even thinking, but when we start to pay attention, breathing becomes one of the most amazing tools we have

In strength training, breath is your built-in support system.


It helps to stabilise your core, protect your spine, and gives you more power (physically and mindset wise). Learning how to breathe properly and optimally makes such a huge difference.


In yoga, the breath is the base. It’s the bridge between your body and mind.


It turns simple movements into meditation in motion.


Conscious regular breathing activate the parasympathetic nervous system, helping your body shift out of stress mode. The more you connect the breath with the movement, the more effortless and fluid your practice becomes.


In life in general, your breath is your anchor. When stress, anxiety, or overwhelm hit, your breath is always there to bring you back to centre. Conscious breathing calms the nervous system, lowers blood pressure, and brings about mental clarity. Even a few intentional breaths can change the course of your day.


Notice how your breath changes when you’re nervous, angry, or joyful. Even just simple awareness is massive and can have amazing positive results.


Breath work can help release tension, and can easily create a sense of safety in the body. It’s so simple yet profound, and massively forgotten about!
